Hi, I’m Kristy.
I’m a wife, a mom of four, and a Calgary family photographer who believes the most meaningful photographs are the ones that bring you right back to a moment. My family keeps life wonderfully busy—my oldest is going to graduate high school this year, my next two are teenage boys, and then, just when we thought we were through the little-kid years, we welcomed our daughter, who is heading into Grade one.
Living through many stages of parenthood has given me an even greater appreciation for how quickly childhood passes. After stepping away from photography for several years to focus on raising my family, I’m returning with a renewed appreciation for just how important it is to preserve the moments that matter most. I know firsthand that the little things become the big things: tiny hands reaching for yours, genuine laughter, scraped knees, bedtime snuggles, and the way your children look at you when no one else is watching.
My sessions are relaxed and heartfelt because I want your family to feel like themselves. The most beautiful images aren’t forced—they happen in the in-between moments, when you’re laughing together, holding your little ones close, or simply enjoying being with each other.
My goal is to create timeless photographs that don’t just decorate your walls, but become part of your family’s story for generations to come.
